[Solved] Using Unimus without internet connection

Hi All,

my name is Massimo, i'm a newbie with Unimus, but i think it's the perfect tool to match my purpose.

So, i would to buy the basic license, but i want to know if is possible to activate the license with internet connection one shot and then close the internet connection on my VM in order to have more security.

Hi!

Using the standard online licensing, Unimus requires connectivity to the licensing server at startup, once every 2 days if there are no inventory changes, and for inventory changes (during zone and/or device addition or deletion).

So apologies, but connectivity only during startup is not enough. Offline Mode of course solves that, but it does require an Unlimited license. We have a post here as to why Offline Mode is supported only for the Unlimited tier: viewtopic.php?p=3869#p3869

thanx a lot for your support. I spoke with my SOC, they asked for an Unimus address to be trusted in order to perform the check that la basic license need

Hi, the only external address required for communication is https://licensing.unimus.net.
