[Solved] password reset error

Hi guys,

WE have an issue where unimus isn't accepting any credentials & we are getting a strange error when rying to do a password reset through the webgui. See attached pic for error. Unimus is still running & pulling configs but we have no way to manage it. Looking for some guidance.

Hi. I think this was a known issue in one of older Unimus versions. Could you please upgrade to the latest Unimus release and let us know if that fixes the reset functionality for you?

So I can run the new installer directly over the top of our existing version without losing configuration data?

Could you please check the log file - it should state the reason why the DB upgrade failed.

"2022-03-31 16:05:45.510 ERROR 4968 --- [SimpleAsyncTaskExecutor-1] n.u.s.b.boot.step.DatabaseUpdate : Failed to update database schema. Reason = 'liquibase.exception.LockException: Could not acquire change log lock. Currently locked by ncm01"

Looks like a locked file. Is there a process or service that needs to be stopped?

This actually happens when an upgrade is interrupted - for example, when the service is restarted during an already in progress upgrade.

Our support can help you resolve this - please create a Support Ticket on the Portal, our guys will help out to fix this :)

Just as an update, the issue after Unimus update was a DB lock. We unlocked the DB, reset the password and Unimus is now up an running.
