[Solved] Support for Checkpoint and Cisco Ironport

Hi!

the company I work for is currently searching for a new config backup tool.
Almost all of our currently used network vendors are supported by unimus except the following:

Checkpoint Firewalls / Checkpoint Smartcenter
Cisco IronPort (E-Mailsecurity Gateway)

What does it need, to be able to also support those devices?

To add support for these devices requires development from our side - we need to write a device driver that will facilitate support for these. We would be happy to do so, we add new drivers based on community requests with each release

Can you please create a Support Ticket on our Portal, and our devs will work out the details with you.

Do you refer to Gaia OS running on Checkpoint gateways? If so, we are working on their support and it should come out in our next major release, version 2.3.0 we plan to release in January. I will update this thread when that happens.

Update on Gaia support - we have done a lot of fixing for Gaia in 2.4.3, as well as in 2.5.0-Beta1. All Gaia devices (appliances, bare-metal or VM) should now work after 2.5.0-Beta1.
