Hello,

I am configuring Unimus at home and have my EdgeRouters setup fine. However, I am trying to setup my UniFi APs and when I try discover them I get "Discovery reports an unsupported device" in the logs. I have the credentials setup for SSH access to them in Unimus (verified by using ssh on the Linux CLI to connect). Is Unimus not supporting them right now even though it says it does?

Hello,

We have had reports of newer firmware breaking some UniFi devices.
UBNT changed the format of the prompt in newer firmware, and it's breaking our UniFi driver.

We are working to resolve this asap, and should have a version with a fix available soon.

Hi Tomas,

Ah thats explains it as I only just setup a brand new Unimus instance and im only able to backup the USG Pro 4 and my EdgeMax Switch, the rest of the hardware gives the below error. (Unimus Ver 1.10.3, Windows Server Core 1903)

Discovery error on '192.168.33.250' - 'Device in CONFIGURE mode, can't switch back to ENABLE mode'!
Discovery error on '192.168.33.250' - 'Command not supported by device'!
Failed to switch to 'CONFIGURE' mode on '192.168.33.250' - 'configure' command not supported
Discovery error on '192.168.33.250' - 'Failed to switch mode - 'configure' command not supported by device'!

The hardware that give the above error is;
UniFi Switch 24 - FW:4.0.55.10629
UniFi AP-AC-Pro - FW:4.0.55.10629
UniFi AP-AC-Mesh - FW:4.0.55.10629

For your reference the working hardware Firmware versions are below;
UniFi Security Gateway 4P - FW:4.4.46.5219000
EdgeSwitch 12F - FW:1.8.2
ProCurve 2810-24G - FW:11.78

Do you have an approx eta for the fix you mentioned? Just so i can pencil in when to come back to this setup once the fix is out.

Lastly I read on a old roadmap here that backing up the Unifi Controller was due late 2018, is that referring to the Unifi Cloud Key or the software Windows instance? I was unable get Unimus to discover that either but wasn't sure if the roadmap meant the Cloud Key controller perhaps.

BTW from the little playing i've done with Unimus so far with the kit that works with it, I like it :D
I absolutely love the coloured emailed reports highlighting the changes!! (great for those red eyed changes I should have documented better :? ).

Thanks!
Troy
