I have a Cisco ASA 5525 running version 9.6(3)1 that won't discover. Unimus connects on SSH, but logs show this error:
device_interaction_error
telnet_unavailable

The debug log shows the version info, but seems to fail on the enable password (I think). Of course, I've double checked the password and tried bound vs auto, etc.

Any idea how to get past this?

Thanks!

Hi,

This issue should already be solved in the latest 1.9.0 Beta release:

Could you please test with this release and let me know if it works?

Thanks!

Thanks, we'll get that version installed asap. Can you tell me if 1.9 will let us SSH to SonicWall firewalls for a config backup?

We do not support SonicWalls even in 1.9.0, sorry.

We would be happy to add support if you would be willing to help us with integration.
Please create a ticket on the Portal to work out the details if this is possible.

Thanks!

That fixed the issue, thanks! Now, can you help with a Cisco 6509 switch? It uses telnet, no username, just a password and an enable password.

We don't yet support password-only authentication.

It is however on the Roadmap:
