Using mostly HP Procurve switches. Most are SSH some are telnet. What I'm seeing is failures connecting to devices the next day after I initially run Unimus. If I ssh / telnet in and try to manually log into the switches some of them will tell me the maximum sessions are active. I run a netstat and see that the uniumus server is indeed still connected to multiple devices.

Restarting the network service won't drop the connections and I can't really automate some form of killing the process as the pid will be different every time. I basically need to reboot the server every night.

I'll PM you as well but I just wanted to post to see if any others have seen this behavior and if they have a temporary solution.

We have not had reports of abandoned / not terminated SSH/Telnet sessions yet.

I will investigate ASAP, it might be something that was introduced in recent versions.
(will update this thread as soon as I have any info)

This took a bit longer than I originally anticipated, I am very sorry for that.

I found one case where a session to the device would not be closed.
If a backup failed (for any reason), the session would remain open.

I fixed that, here is a build with a fix: https://goo.gl/JzZXQo

Could you please test if you still see abandoned sessions with this build?

Thanks!
