I have some OS10 switches I'm trying to back up. The devices are discovered ok, but trying to run a backup gives me COMMAND_NOT_SUPPORTED_BY_DEVICE

I don't know Dell Switches super well, but they may require an enable password for pulling the config. I would double check that you have the correct credentials added for enable/configure privilege escalation.

If that isn't the solution, please reach out to our support through the Unimus Portal and they will be able to work with you on resolving the issue.

Side note, I don't get all the ticket resolution notifications, so if you do reach out to the support guys, it would be really awesome if you could report back here as to the resolution of the issue.

Figured it out. Turns out your backup user needs at least netadmin permissions. I had netoperator permissions set. I can't remember where I read that netoperator permissions were sufficient, but that's not the case.

Ahh permissions are a bugger. Thanks for the heads up. Glad it was something simple.
