Hi,
Can the version or hostname of the devices also be displayed under Devices?

You can manually set the hostname in the IP field or description when you edit the device.

Otherwise there is not -currently- any other information that you can apply to the device (Unless you want to use tags)

Currently, you do get the model number, Vendor, Unimus Driver type that are figured out automatically by Unimus. We are currently working on expanding the information that Unimus Discovery pulls/displays from a device during discovery.

For example, I could have read the router's version via Mass Push Config. That probably wouldn't be difficult, but I don't have the field to insert it somewhere. How do I know if the update was successful? And Mikrotik has software and firmware.
Tags? Can I enter such information there?

It's a manual process, but if you wanted to you can create tags that correspond to various firmware versions, technically you could automate this with Unimus Mass Config Push and some scripting through the API:

Unimus has had to build 3 different "drivers" for MikroTik RouterOS because they have changed the CLI so significantly. There is RouterOS Legacy, RouterOSV6, and RouterOSV7. So, currently, Unimus does not differentiate between RouterOS version 7.7 and 7.14.

We do have more details about devices we will be collecting during discovery on the Roadmap under development, but we do not have a specific release we are planning that for yet. (We are aiming for Q4 2025, but no promises at this moment, I have had my heart broken too much recently by the devs as they are far too overworked to give me the attention/love I desire)
