I'm getting the error, "Server uses incompatible version of communication protocol" when trying to do an import from NetXMS (v2.0.5 (8070)) into Unimus (v0.3.3). I'm on a free Unimus licence at the moment with 3 devices used. Is the import failing because of the lack of licences or, as I suspect, does the problem lie elsewhere?

Cheers,

Steve

Hi,

The problem is NetXMS API version Unimus uses.
NetXMS API clients are compatible only against certain versions of NetXMS server.
Unimus 0.3.1 -> NetXMS 2.0
Unimus 0.3.2 -> NetXMS 2.0
Unimus 0.3.3 -> NetXMS 2.1
I can build Unimus 0.3.3 with NetXMS API 2.0 for you if you want; honestly it takes only 2 minutes.

Yes please, Tomas. I won't be upgrading NetXMS to 2.1 until it's passed the RC stage.

Thanks,

Steve

Thanks Tomas, that works great. Just getting an error about "No free licences" now, but I was expecting that!

Thanks again,

Steve
