Devices are not syncing from Netbox to Unimus

Hi Team,

I am struggling from last 2 weeks and when we do NMS sync with Netbox token key my devices are not syncing in between them. Although it says connection are successful but local data are not processed. One more thing, on NMS sync rule, I was trying to enter custom fields like site='name' it gives us an error it seems it takes only predefined keywords like role,tag etc not other than that.

Please help me on this issue.

Hi! Support for custom fields is there, but it needs to be entered in a "field=FieldName:FieldValue" format, as per our docs: https://wiki.unimus.net/display/UNPUB/NetBox+importer

As for why your Sync Rules are not finding the right devices, the most common issue we see is that the NetBox API is case sensitive, and there are casing issues between the Sync Rule config and NetBox.

You can also check the log file for more info on what failed, or please feel free to create a Support Ticket on the Portal, and we can help investigate why your imports fail.
