VM Error Start Unimus java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space

Hi,
we have a Debian VM (20.4) 64 bit with Unimus version 2.2.4. Unimus hangs after some time with the error message java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space. I looked in the forum, the only solution I found is to increase the RAM memory. I have done this for a while. Meanwhile 10 days ago I increased the RAM from 2 GB to 3 GB and extended the configuration under /etc/default/unimus to 2560 MB. Since round about one week again Unimus can not start and we have now 6GB Ram.
I Have since 9/21 an open Ticket without a solution and we need now a solution!
My Ticket Number is 9897-761-026-30. Please help us urgent. We dont have Device Backups since 2 Weeks!

This issue, unfortunately, from looking into logs, seems problematic as it started happening suddenly without any clear indication in the logs of what might be a specific cause. We also see in the logs that since Sep 16th after a restart of Unimus, Unimus doesn't seem to be able to fully start. We saw in the logs a DB engine is reporting a lack of resources. This then started combining with messages that a heap space (a memory allocation for Unimus) was depleted. At this stage we have all information we should need (including a dump of a heap space) and our team is looking into the issue. Unfortunately, this report originally came when our team has been especially busy (this happens when major developments are finishing), so we couldn't have gotten to it any sooner.

Apologies again for the issue. As I mentioned in the email, as soon as I have any updates from our team, I will let you know.

Hello,
please hurry up with the analysis, as also written by us several times.
Unimus is a production system at our company. The fact that we have not had a backup for weeks is critical and must be fixed. I have just given the VM 16 GB Ram also these 16 GB are completely used up after 30 minutes and the system is frozen.

I have emailed you back describing a possible temporary solution of setting up a temp VM just to get device backups up and running as soon as possible while we can resolve the issue with the existing instance.
