During discovery if you have multiple passwords for a username you can create the same username, but does it test all the different passwords for that username to determine the correct one to use (since you can't allocate a credential to a device).

Yes, all credentials present in the table are tested.

So if you have multiple credentials where username is the same, but password is different, all will be tested.
