Hi I've run into the discovery fail error mention in the subject for several HP ProCurve switches.
The discovery ran without issue and got all of the device information (Vendor, Type, Model) but was unable to backup the config.
Devices:
HP ProCurve 2540-48G-4SFP+ (x2)
HP ProCurve 2540-48G-PoE+-4SFP+ (x2)
All of which are Aruba.
I sshed into them and enabled config mode without issue as well.
Any help would be great since these should be supported.

Hello,
We would like to take a look at debug logs to get a better picture what is happening there, exactly.
To do so, go to Zones > Your Zone (the zone where you assigned the affected devices) > Debug mode and enable Debug mode and Device output logging.
Rerun the failing backup/discovery job, and after it fails, download both log files (from the same Debug mode window).
To send them to us, please create a support ticket via our Portal and attach them to it (I'd recommend packing them into an archive in beforehand).

Unfortunately, Upon trying to download the logs, the device_output log is empty and attempting to download the full log file times out throwing an altert in unimus and also causes all of the cores to go offline for a second and then return online. I tried to ssh in and grab the file from /var/log/unimus but they don't populate with anything past the server startup sequence.

This doesn't sound good. Let's take a closer look at it.
Would you mind creating a support ticket in our Portal?
