I'm sorry if this has been asked before. I did try to see if there was a thread, so apologies if I missed it.
I wanted to know which elements of Unimus should I back up to protect against losing the Unimus machine and restoring from backup. I want to back up the configuration and all of the device backups.
Thanks
Alfie
[Solved] Backup Unimus itself
Hi,
All data is kept in the database - so backing up the DB is completely sufficient to restore Unimus. You may also want to back up the config file however - as it contains the DB encryption password, and makes recovery faster (just place config file in-place, restore DB and start service).
Config file is in "/etc/unimus/unimus.properties" or "C:\ProgramData\Unimus\unimus.properties" depending on the OS, and you can see the DB location in the config file.
