[Solved] Email notification for failed backups not being sent

Our emails are being sent successfully for most things that I'm aware of (config change summaries, failed discoveries, etc) but there were some failed backup jobs on the scheduled backups and I wasn't aware of the failures because I don't believe these notifications are being sent even though they are enabled.
Where can I look to troubleshoot this?
