Juniper EX2300 INTERACTION_ERROR

Hi,
I have an issue with certain Juniper EX2300 devices that will time out during attempted backup. I have tried raising the timeout value to 120s, but to no avail.
The strange thing is that if I enable debug - device output logging, the device output looks exactly the same as the output for a succesful device (also an EX2300).
I am on version 2.0.2 and the backup is attempted from a remote core.
Any idea to what might cause this error?
