I just updated our Unimus to 2.6.2. Now I can't get past the Unimus server service being paused. I've tried a reboot of the server and a stop of the service completely, but when trying to start the service I get a pop up box saying "Windows could not start the Unimus Server service on Local Computer. The service did not return an error. This could be an internal windows error or an internal service error." We haven't made any changes at all between the time it took us to run the update or afterwards and Unimus was working fine before the updates. Any thoughts of how to counteract this without having to revert to a snapshot image before the update? Thanks!

Hi, what happens when you try to run Unimus.exe manually? You can open an admin command line, and navigate to "C:\Program Files\Unimus" and run Unimus.exe. Does that work or does it fail with any errors?

When I did it through command line, I found out we didn't have java installed. Once I installed java, it came right up. Thank you!

Normally you don't need to have Java installed at all. The Unimus installer deploys a standalone (portable) OpenJDK JRE to "C:\Program Data\Unimus\jre11". You should see that being copied during the installer run.

I would guess something on your machine blocked the JRE deploy to the Unimus directory. Installing full system-wide Java will work too, but it is definitely not required. I would check if you see the JRE being copied during the installer run.
