[Fixed in 2.1.3] Mass Configuration Push slow to load
I have around 30 or so presets in Mass config push and it is very slow to load. It takes over 60 seconds to load. I am running 2.1.2 version of Unimus with about 692 devices in the system. What are some best practices for setting up mass config push?
Hi, could you please provide a bit more information:
- what DB are you running
- how much RAM does the Unimus server have
- what's the XMX configuration for Unimus?

We were able to identify multiple cases in which the DB layer would be a bottleneck in very large Config Push scenarios. We have optimized a lot of the DB queries, and the Config Push screen now behaves nicely even with a hundred presets and thousands of devices inside presets.
These optimizations will be released in 2.1.3.

Tomas,
I am working on this issue with freemo. We tried the suggestion in the wiki and increased the ram limit to 2gig to no avail.
- what DB are you running
Postgres SQL
- how much RAM does the Unimus server have
8 gigs
- what's the XMX configuration for Unimus?
Xmx2g
Edit: I just saw you post about the upgrades. Apologies. Thanks.

No problem at all - please let us know if it behaves properly for you after the upgrade to 2.1.3. Current plan is for a GA release on 20th (Oct. 2021).Schrodinger wrote: ↑Fri Oct 15, 2021 3:11 pm...

Hello Everyone,
I would like to reiterate on Tomas' previous message. Unimus version 2.1.3 is live and brings some serious performance improvements. Everything was tested and validated by our team running some 8k devices, 30 presets, 5 zones and 10 tags, tested across all supported DB types. As always, you can download a new version from the link below

If you get a chance, give it a try and let us know how it performs on your end.
