Hi,

We have a few Huawei routers running VRP which Tomas kindly implemented support for. Unfortunately we have never been able to get our own devices discovered.

Regardless of the device or the (known working) credentials, we receive this error in the log: .

Other (Mikrotik) devices are able to be successfully discovered and backed up.

Any ideas on next troubleshooting steps or ideas?

Hi,

Could you please enable Device Communication Logging in "Zones > Default > Debug mode"?
After that, run a discovery on this devices.

After discovery fails, download the Device Communication Log file.
Please PM me this file, or create a ticket in the Portal and attach the file there.

This has now been fixed in 1.9.0 Beta2 and going forward.
