Hello,

I keep trying to download the beta build, but the version reports as 1.8.2 when I replace it. I am on windows and just downloaded the exe and replaced in C:\program files\unimus\. Turned off service then replaced .exe then restarted. I cannot enable to debug feature. Am I missing something? Getting java.lang.NullPointerException: null when I try to turn debug on.

This is normal, as we increase the version only when the build gets released.
(this is actually a Windows issue, since Windows only takes a numeric version string, so we can't do something like "1.8.4-BetaX", because .exe files can not be created with such a version string)

I am very sorry you ran into this - you were doing everything right - this was actually a bug in the Beta build.
We fixed this and published a new Beta build.

Could you please try to get the debug logs now?

Thanks!

Hello,

Are you planned to add outdoor point-to-point Bridge Ruckus (ZoneFlex 7731 and ZoneFlex P300)?
I already use the zukus director zone and the addition of these bridges would be great.
Thanks for your answer.

Piou.
Hi,

We would be happy to add support.
Would it be possible to get access to one of these for driver development?

Feel free to send a PM to me to work out the details.

Thanks!
Great, I put a test Wifi bridge and recontact you in mp for the test.
Thank you.
Hello Tomas,

I finally got the budget to acquire the software.
After my various tests on my equipment, I have my HP A5120-48G-PoE switches and my Ruckus P300 wifi bridges that are not detected.
Is it still possible to implement them if I provide you with a test environment with these 2 elements?

Thank you for your feedback.

Sure, we would be happy to implement support.

Feel free to PM me with the connection details for the devices, and we will take care to make sure they work.

I noticed in your list that you support Cisco sx200 SMB switches. i am a bit confused as i believe these only support http and https. no terminal access is available. am i missing something ?

Thanks

PS. As much is I would love another excuse to get rid of these switches support from unimus would help me get a few more years out of them.

We don't have one of these in-house, support was made based on access to these switches provided by a customer.
So there must be some way to get a CLI on them.

Perhaps a similar trick as with the HPE 1920S series - you download a config through web GUI, and add "enable ssh" (or similar), and restore that config to device through the web GUI. That will enable SSH / Telnet (that is how you do it on the HPE 1920S series).

I guess you learn a new trick every day. kinda sad that today i learned a trick that enables only telnet. at least this will help me enforce better password policy even if it is plain text.

Thank you
