[Implemented] Mass Config Push Scheduling

While the mass config push feature is nice, it does not really solve our needs without the ability to run this at a configured time. The use case for us is that we run a business where upgrades typically can only take place in the very early morning hours. Instead of having to get up and perform these, we would like to be able and create pushes, test them and once comfortable they are working as expected schedule them to run on the many devices off hours, unattended.

Also, when adding presets the Command window could be made a LOT wider so everything is not continually wrapping.

Finally, for scheduling about the only thing the system does not seem to support at this point would be a one-time option. This might be helpful for these sorts of tasks, but we can workaround by just making it something like monthly and then turning it off after it runs.

Seems all the needed components for scheduling are already in the system, so hoping this can be an easy addition (1.7.1 ;) ). Thanks!

We created a ticket for this:
https://tracker.unimus.net/browse/UN-322

One question tho, would it be enough to schedule a Config Push to run one time, or do we actually want it to have scheduled repeatedly (using the schedules from the "Schedules" configuration)?

For our use case one-time would be fine and definitely how we would use it most of the time. Of course the more general solution would be to allow one-time or recurring.

I agree. To be able to push a config once after hours so I don't have to stay up till 2am would be great.

I would love this feature, though unlike the rest I would like the ability to set it to repeat as I would actually like to use this function to poll IPv6 Neighbors on a switch to check for unauthorized devices.

I am unable to subscribe to the Beta board, and there have been no new posts since June 12th, for 1.10.2 and it has been ~2 months since the last post in this thread. My supervisor has me looking for solutions and this is my favorite so far, but an updated timeline on the actual implementation of this feature, even in beta, would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

We are working hard to have 2.0.0 ready for a public Beta release by the end of this month.

In the meantime, I have PMed you a link to an Alpha build of 2.0 which includes functional Push scheduling.
I would not advise putting this version into production, but we would appreciate deploying and testing it in a lab environment.
