Device CLI History/Audit Log
Hello everyone! The Device CLI feature is awesome and actually solves quite a few problems for us. However, one thing that I think would be nice to have would be to be able to go back and see the history of what a user did when they used the Device CLI feature. As in, being able to audit/log/view back what commands were ran after the fact. I know we can see the Device CLI History that reports that someone did something at a certain time, but having detailed logs of what they did would be valuable (and might also address some compliance requirements in certain scenarios). Being able to set in the Advanced settings how long the history can go back would be nice as well. Just a thought!
Thank you for sharing your ideas with us. We have already considered such an enhancement, but we are still unsure about the final form this feature should take. While it would be possible to simply add the history of commands a results into the existing Device CLI history table and display it individually for each record, we are still uncertain if this is the best solution, especially considering all planned enhancements for device CLIs.
