One of the issues I've had with a large number of devices in the system is the currently rather blunt search box on the devices page. I'd love to be able to filter by values in specific columns and build up that query using AND / OR functionality. For example selecting all of a previous vendor kit at a site with naming convention X but not the kit of a different vendor (the new vendor). That would allow us to make changes to large amounts of equipment at once.

Hi,

we certainly agree with you that such an improvement would be needed. We would particularly like to introduce improved filtering for other parts of Unimus as well, not only for 'Device view'. For this reason, we have already included this feature in our backlog, but there is currently no ETA stated yet. Anyway I will keep you informed in case of any news regarding this feature.

I agree, it would be very helpful to be able to filter based on device location, device type etc.

Agreed , This needs to be done. When you have a lot of devices, it is not possible to do proper fine grained search for specific groups of devices.
