Hello,

Is it possible to change the Cisco ASA discovery to include the WS-SVC-ASA-SM1 module? This module has the same capabilities as an ASA55XX device but has a different hardware string.

Show version output:
---------------------------
admin/ciscoasa# show version

Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance Software Version 9.12(4)58 <context>
SSP Operating System Version 2.6(1.264)
Device Manager Version 7.19(1)95

Compiled on Tue 09-May-23 17:36 GMT by builders

ciscoasa up 140 days 0 hours

Hardware: WS-SVC-ASA-SM1, 32170 MB RAM, CPU Xeon 5600 series 2000 MHz, 2 CPUs (24 cores)
BIOS Flash M25P32 @ 0x0, 64KB
---------------------------

I think changing the device discovery template for the Cisco ASA to include the WS-SVC- prefix should work.

Hi,

first of all i would like to really apologize for a late answer. Luckily i have a good news because development related to your requirement was already done, so you can expect the delivery with next release. Latest approximately about beginning of of April.
