Is it possible to make tweaks to the Operator role to have different permissions?

A use case would be to enable a user to push a config that has already been defined, but not create new configurations.

Hi,

currently there isn't such an option in Unimus which would cover your case. It's true that in version 2.5.0 we are planning to introduce new feature "Object Access Policies" which will bring more options in the scope of access control compared to our currently existing "Device Access Restrictions", however in your case it still not allow to disable the possibility to create MCP presets for the operator role in general. On the other hand, it is possible to restrict a specific user from creating, modifying, or executing presets that contain devices that the user does not have access to.

That doesn't sound too helpful in you case and more suitable would be some kind of custom role concept which would offer a full read/write per-view permission customization. We already have a ticked for such a feature in our backlog but currently no ETA is stated. I'll link your post to our internal ticket and keep you updated in case of any news.
