Re: [Fixed in 2.1.0] Syslog messages show as diffs in Juniper backups
Hi again, Sorry to wake up an old thread, but it seems that "monitor stop" does not work exactly the same as "esc-q". I still get log output in backups, and for devices with a lot of terminal syslog output, discoveries and/or backups will fail intermittently. Is there a possibili...

[Solved] Discovery process fails on Junos EVO
Hi, I am on version 2.0.13 (tried checking for a fix in the release notes for subsequent versions, but couldn't find a mention of this issue). I am trying to discover a device running Junos EVO (20.4R3.8-EVO), but the process doesn't seem to able to pinpoint vendor/version. Have confirmed that SSH c...

Re: [Draft] Unimus API v3 - feedback wanted
Hi,
No comments with regards to design etc, but I wanted to emphasise that this a game-changing for our implementation. All the new API features will mean that we can fully automate zone designation, credentials etc. for new devices. So this development is greatly appreciated!

Re: API - create device - specify zone and credentials
I agree, great news indeed!
This really helps automate adding new devices properly via scripting.

Re: Syslog messages show as diffs in Juniper backups
Is there any possibility to look into this for a future version? It makes finding actual config diffs very difficult.

[Fixed in 2.1.0] Syslog messages as diffs in Juniper backups
When looking at diffs for Juniper equipment backups, there are a lot of "false positive" diffs that consist of syslog messages to the device terminal. When logged in to a Juniper device, you can normally turn off syslog output to terminal by Esc-Q. Is it possible for Unimus to do this befo...

[Implemented] API - create device - specify zone and credentials
Hi, We have a setup with a large number of devices, distributed across several zones. As we frequently add new devices to these zones, it would be a great feature if you could specify which zone a new device should belong to, when creating it using the API. It could also be useful to be able to bind...
