Re: Unimus is 'chatty' in the I/O

In a case where the system starts to swap, it's not just Unimus that is casing such IO. When RAM runs out, pretty much ALL Linux services use the swap for all their scheduled jobs / tasks. Basically, you are seeing the IO that the entire Linux system needs from the RAM when idle (using the word &quo...

Re: Unimus is 'chatty' in the I/O

I dont think the problem here will be HSQL.

How much memory do these VMs have assigned?

By default Unimus is configured to use up to 768MB of RAM.
If the machine has less, it will claim all the RAM, and the VM will swap.
This would create the high IO you see.

Re: Unable to backup Cisco WLC

Update for anyone reading this topic in the future: In both of these cases, the problem was that the WLC took too long to start outputting the backup. Unimus was therefore reaching timeout and failing the backup job. To diagnose, simply measure how long it takes the WLC to start outputting data for ...

Re: IPv6 inconsistency?

Hi, Which of these cases is not working for you? 1) IPv6 address as the device address Here, Unimus should communicate over IPv6 directly 2) DNS hostname that resolves only to an IPv6 address as the device address Here again, Unimus should communicate over IPv6 directly 3) DNS hostname that resolves...

Re: Automating MikroTik RouterOS updates

You don't need to use "\" after each line. Basically, Unimus works the same way as you would in the CLI. So whatever series of commands works for you manually, will work through Mass Config Push in Unimus as well. For example: /system routerboard :if ([get current-firmware] = [get upgrade-...

Re: Supported vendors/devices

Is there a way to be notified when support for SwOs comes around? Best would probably be to enable notifications for new topics in the Announcements section. Each time we release a new version, it comes with a proper announcement and change-log. You will definatelly see a lot of lines in the change...
