Re: Support for 6wind vRouter
We would be happy to add support for 6wind routers. This however requires development from our side - we need to write a device driver that will facilitate support for these. Is there any chance you have one of these devices in a lab where we would have SSH access to (for driver development)? Altern...

Re: Mikrotik RSC backup scripts taken via Unimus are failing to restore
I discussed with the dev team on how to approach the Tik issues discussed here. We think we have a solution - but I would like to validate if it will work properly for your case.
Would you be available for a Zoom session to provide feedback on our design (which will hopefully solve this)?

[BETA] 2.0.9 beta release thread

Work is now in progress on 2.1, but these changes were easy to merge into the 2.0 code...

Re: Mikrotik RSC backup scripts taken via Unimus are failing to restore
Hello, Unimus simply takes the export file from RouterOS and stores it - it does not modify or change the configuration file (rsc script) in any way. Therefore if restore fails, you will need to work with MikroTik as to why. For example, if MAC addresses are included in the configuration - this is b...

Re: Unimus and FreeNAS/TrueNAS
What does that mean? Unimus can get the cofing file from FreeNAS/TrueNAS (core, enterprise)? With all passwords? On regular basis? Do I understand correctly? Yes, Unimus can backup config of FreeNAS / TrueNAS - any edition will work. For backup, the configuration database is backed up periodically....

Re: Error ENABLE_SWITCH_FAILED
Thanks - it seems our HP ProCurve driver is able to identify and adopt it. I think the best option would be to natively support this through a separate "ArubaOS-Switch" driver - since the OS is not a full-featured ProVision/ArubaOS. Could you please create a support ticket on our Portal, a...

Re: Error ENABLE_SWITCH_FAILED
Hello, ENABLE_SWITCH_FAILED are OK during discovery - since if Unimus is trying to discover devices, it might attempt to switch to enable / config mode to see if device supports those modes or not (that is the job of Discovery after all). The HP / Aruba 2530 does have modes btw - called specifically...
