Re: Telnet support
Hi, Telnet support is not currently planned. This is because: 1) security issues of telnet 2) implementation would require a lot of time, and the benefits are very small (only minimal amount of devices/people would use it) So since the usefulness/development-cost ratio is not favourable, this featur...

Re: Original format
Backup is done over SSH, issuing "show configuration commands", and scraping the output. I would guess the .tar.gz is when downloading config over web interface. Currently, there is no way to get this file. I will keep this feature in the backlog, will investigate how to best implement it ...

Re: Deploying Unimus in Tomcat (or other application servers)
Glad to hear its working now.thobias wrote: Yes it seem to work properly now after a second "first time setup". Wonder why it did not write any data to the DB the first time..
Any chance you could look into catalina.out to see if there are any errors/exceptions during the previous setup attempt?

Re: Deploying Unimus in Tomcat (or other application servers)
The database also have 42 tables after the setup but no rows. That will be the issue. During setup, it was able to initialize the database schema, but didnt write any data to the DB. So after an application restart, it sees an empty DB, and therefore goes to the config wizard. Can you try to go thr...

Re: Cannot start Unimus
That looks like you are trying to run 0.2.x on a database from 0.1.x. As was mentioned in newsletters and forum release posts, 0.2.x is not backwards compatible to 0.1.x, so you need to delete the old database. Alternatively, just change the path to the DB in the config file, and a new DB will be cr...

Re: Deploying Unimus in Tomcat (or other application servers)
Hi, I managed to deploy Unimus today on a clean server and set everything up. But when I restarted the machine and opened the Unimus GUI again I am greeted by the EULA and first time setup and from what I can see there's no data in the tables in the mysql-db. How is the unimus.properties file looki...

Re: Schedule = never
Would a "Manage" and "Unmanage" functionality be acceptable for this? Basically, when you "Unmanage" a device, Unimus will no longer perform any tasks on it, and manual tasks ("Discover now"/"Backup now") would not be possible. Final effect would be ...
