From few fast searches, it seems CheckMK has an API - so adding a NMS Sync connector should be possible.

We will add it to the Roadmap.

First of all apologies for the late reply.

Unimus grabs the "config.xml" file from pfSense.
You can recover this simply by placing that file into "/conf" - so the full path is "/conf/config.xml".

pfSense should pick the config up on next boot or a config reload.

We do support Cisco switches - both IOS based and some SMB series.
Ca you please post a screenshot of the failed discovery job?

Go to "Devices" and click on the red status indicator on the left.
This will open the failed job log, please post a screenshot of that.
