Re: Automating MikroTik RouterOS updates

How does RouterOS connect to the package source? Just wondering if this would work with an offsite package source and if so, what would need opening up on the firewall? It should use the Winbox port and the Winbox service itself. So theoretically all that is needed is opening up the Winbox service....

In the meantime, is there a way to delete the "bad" backups from Unimus?
Currently the only way would be to delete the proper rows from the "BACKUP" table in the database.

Re: Notifications to Microsoft Teams (BOT)

Hi, We already have an internal ticket for Teams support, so it's on our radar. There is however currently no ETA I can provide. The team is currently focusing on finishing the 2.0.0 release, and the 2.1 release is already planned-out as well. So likely Teams notification sender will only make it to...

Re: Backup Change - Text Added during backup

Hi, This is currently a known issue on HP(E) ProVision / ProCurve / ArubaOS, where some VT100 control sequences can leak into the backup. Please setup a webex with me, sometimes later this week, and I'll forward the invite to my colleague to help us as well.

Thanks in advance.
Please create a ticket on the Portal, and we can work out the details there.

Re: Windows server minimum/recommended version?

Hi, Officially we support Windows Server 2012 R2 and any newer Win Server releases. I personally would recommend Server 2016. Other recommendations: 1) if deploying more than 200 devices in Unimus, do not use HSQL A full-grade database is recommended (MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, etc.). This is also ...

Re: Automating MikroTik RouterOS updates

Tried this: ... Doesn't work. Hangs waiting for prompt What am I missing? (am on latest as of yesterday btw. 1.10.14?) I looked at this, it seems on SOME (but not all - it's inconsistent) version of RouterOS, the "y" needs to be outside of the script scope (outside the "{" "...
