[Implemented] username:password to device assignment
Instead of discovering the password by trying every one in the credentials, allow a credential to be assigned to a device. The problem I am having is reuse of username per device vendor. Some devices only allow certain names (e.g. root, manager, admin, et. al.). Unimus' credential list shows the use...

[Implemented] Schedule = never
Some of my devices have been retired. I don't want to lose the backup history and I don't want Unimus to keep trying to back them up. I have set a schedule for the 31st of every month; this limits to eight backup attempts per year. I would like a to either 1) setup a schedule for an invalid date (ne...

I have a 200D in the shop. The ssd failed due to what tech support calls "excessive logging"... for a firewall...?
Tomas, I have a 200D in the lab if you would like access to it. Backups for this equipment is a necessity.

Re: [Fixed in 0.2.2] 0.2.0 Comware v.5: ssh_backup_download_failed
My backups are going well; however, on the Devices screen some of the Comware devices note the model as "with": unimus1.png Discovery is probably enumerating a word of the 'display version': <switch>dis version HPE Comware Platform Software Comware Software, Version 5.20.99, Release 5501P2...

Re: [Fixed in 0.2.2] 0.2.0 Comware v.5: ssh_backup_download_failed
That explains it. Thanks for the quick fix. My stacked Comware 5.20.99 5501P25 devices are being backed up successfully.

[Fixed in 0.2.2] 0.2.0 Comware v.5: ssh_backup_download_failed
Comware syslogs every valid command. The last valid command I see in syslog after successful Unimus login is: "Command is display version" followed by "logged out because the SSH client closed the connection." What method of configuration backup does Unimus use? A scrape of 'disp...

Procurve: backup alternate config(1,2,3) files
Request to backup config1, 2, and 3 for a procurve device and note which is set as "startup-configuration" at next boot.
Reference command:
#show config files
;set default boot primary flash using config2 file
#startup-default primary configuration config2

Re: Discovery failure: Provision (Procurve)
Sure. I have many procurve series in my lab ( microwaves, comware, brocade, and Ruggedcom) if you would like access to them as well. I'll pm you the address to my lab.
Thank you.
Thank you.
