Re: [Solved] Netonix Switch Backup
In order to help myself next time I need this procedure, I'm going to detail the steps here (for those like me that need the reminder): Download .txt backup from Unimus Create a folder called "www" Place the .txt download file in the www folder and rename the text file: config.json Create ...

Re: Automating MikroTik RouterOS updates
Looks like the simple thing I did not do was have my Unimus user login to the router with "full" privilege. I had given that user "write" and that is not enough to upgrade firmware...

Re: Automating MikroTik RouterOS updates
I am definitely messing this up... I'm trying to run: /system package update set channel=long-term /system package update check-for-updates /system package update install This works when done from CLI but not when sent as a config push. I then tried adding a :delay10 between lines 2 and three to giv...

[Solved] Moving server platforms
Are there any tricks to moving the Unimus server from Windows to Ubuntu? I'm thinking alongs the lines of the license (we have a 50 seat legacy license), config file and the stored backups? We only have ~45 devices so it will not be tough to rebuild if needed but if there was a simple way... We are ...

[Solved] Using Cambium ePMP backups
I am attempting to use a backup file we have made from a Cambium ePMP 2000 AP. The file, when downloaded from Unimus, does not match the file when downloaded directly from the device. It is missing all of the json formatting and is not able to be uploaded into another ePMP device to restore. It is s...

Re: Automate ".backup" files?
Interesting... Our network admin is working on a written process for replacing an edge router with an identical replacement. We have found that trying to CLI paste the Unimus backup file (or any export) does not work. It does not place the write commands in the correct order. We find that it writes ...

Automate ".backup" files?
Is there a way to use Unimus to backup the ".backup" Mikrotik files? We want to use those for Winbox restore for a router failure (ie: take new hardware off the shelf and upload the .backup file to it).

Re: Ignite Metrolinq 60G Omni fails
I think I PM'd you. It never leaves the Outbox - I would expect it to move into sent items.
