one-way config sync from hot to warm spare?

This may be straying outside of what unimus is designed for, but I wondered if there is any way to use config push as a method of one-way synchronising changes from a primary mikrotik router to an in-place warm spare? We're not ready to go to the complexity of full HA setup at this site, but it woul...

Re: Is Unimus vulnerable to CVE-2021-44228?

Thanks for the quick reply Tomas, thankfully we're not internet exposed which reduces the risk a bit, happy to wait. For everyone else running around looking for apps using log4j, there is a hash list of vulnerable library versions ( 1.x might still actually be affected too ). I know this is not is...

Re: Is Unimus vulnerable to CVE-2021-44228?

Hello, yes, we can confirm Unimus is sadly affected by this vuln. We have just finished rolling out hotfixes across our infrastructure / backend services. A hotfix release for Unimus (and Core) itself will be released ASAP tomorrow. Thanks for the quick reply Tomas, thankfully we're not internet ex...

[Solved] Is Unimus vulnerable to CVE-2021-44228?

Hi, is Unimus affected by CVE-2021-44228 ? Quick grep of the unimus jar shows a couple of log4j strings but not sure if you actually use the framework itself? # zcat /opt/unimus/Unimus.jar |grep -i log4j gzip: /opt/unimus/Unimus.jar has more than one entry--rest ignored Name: BOOT-INF/lib/log4j-to-s...

Re: Baseline compliance

I'd also like to see something like this. You can manually go and hunt across device configs with config search, but I think it would be a good feature to be able to schedule/repeat a config search periodically and send a notification if some pattern is present in the output of the search. eg: look ...

[Solved] netxms 3.0 protocol version error

Hi, upgraded to netxms 3.0 and it looks like Unimus uses an older version of the protocol to sync? Is an update to that on the roadmap for the next release?

Cheers Tomas.

Ha, it worked after 32GB to the VM and -Xms2G -Xmx8G.

I guess I better look at migrating to a real DB!

Re: [Solved] Updated to 1.6 and Unimus doesn't start

Thanks for the reply Tomas. With 16GB of RAM and -Xms2G -Xmx6G it made it past the " Running backup line endings fix patch" and seemed to error on the "Running duplicate backup removal patch". Here were a couple of stackoverflow links I found on memory issues with HSQL and TRUNCA...
