Re: Cisco SG300 no longer being discovered

Since I upgraded to 2.2.4 it appears my Cisco SG300's have stopped being backed up and discovered. Hi. This is a side effect of the upgrade to our SSH client library in 2.2.3. We updated our SSH crypto support with newer (more secure) protocols, but this broke compatibility with old SSH servers whi...

Re: Hardware requirements

Hello, the requirements are for Unimus only, NOT including the DB. As the Wiki states: You have to have the required amount of RAM for the OS and other services on the system. So if running everything on a single host, the DB requirements should be considered for sizing separately from our (Unimus')...

Re: Local Backup Location

My primary concern is where the backups are stored within the program, to my knowledge the only outside server would be the licensing server. All other components are stored locally. If so, where are the backups located within the C: drive? Hello, Indeed Unimus is fully local / on-premise. The back...

Re: Licensing and Pricing changes on Oct. 1st 2022

Seeing that the standalone version(air-gapped) is only for unlimited devices is very frustrating. I love this product, when it's working correctly, but this should be available for everyone. Perhaps this is a good opportunity to explain why the offline support is available only to Unlimited license...

Re: Pronunciation?

Please help settle an issue in our office - what is the correct pronunciation of Unimus? The "international" pronunciation is Unimus [ yoo-nee-mus ]. First part is the same pronunciation as Unique [ yoo-nee -k ], second part as Thalamus [ tha-luh- mus ]. There is an example of pronunciati...

Licensing and Pricing changes on Oct. 1st 2022

We are making changes to the Unimus Subscription model starting on October 1st 2022. Re: RouterOS and MTU - a collection of useful scripts

I want to try to maximise the MTU, I have a working OFPS/MPLS, working on 1600mtu; due to some limitations on a few segments, can I run the script and maximise the MTU? and will it affect the working of MPLS or OSPF? The L2 MTU you can max across the network without any negative consequences. The M...

Re: Config change detection

Yes, Unimus will detect changes and send config change notifications. However, this is not "live". You can set the scheduled backup jobs to run for example hourly, in which case there would be a maximum of 1 hour between the change being made and the detection of that change. Increasing th...
