Re: FreeNAS - Binary config files?

Hi,

This is not possible yet, but we have plans to support HTTP(S), SCP, and (S)FTP soon.

After those connectors are implemented, we will be able to support binary configs for many different things, various NASes included.

Re: Supported vendors/devices

Also requesting for Dell Sonicwall (SonicOS). edit part 2: Looks like the running config can be exported with command "show current-config" even with a read only administrator However, with putty, it seems to pagenate every section. Would it be possible to get access to one of these in a lab to pro...

Re: [Fixed in 1.6.0] NetXMS Import

I implemented the changes to the NetXMS importer. I have also added a new article on the wiki that should explain all the details: https://wiki.unimus.net/display/UNPUB/NetXMS+importer I also updated the 1.6.0 Beta thread with the build that includes the importer updates: https://forum.unimus.net/vi...

Re: [BETA] 1.6.0 beta thread

1.6.0-beta3 is released today. Original post updated to reflect this. Changes from beta2: Features: NetXMS importer upgrades: - Importer will now import all nodes in the structure under sync container, not just nodes directly in it - You can now specify sync containers not just by name but also by I...

Re: NetXMS Import

I agree.

I suggest 2 improvements:
1) allow inputting container IDs (in "#1234" format)
2) allow inputting entire container path (using "Container A/Container B" formatting)

Would that be better?

Hi,

As you taught me, when I modified the parameters related to Timeout, I got the backup successfully.

# When running in Jar, it was necessary to pass the option directly to the java command.

Best regards.
Glad to hear everything worked.

If you need any other help, just let us know.

Re: NetXMS Import

I would recommend creating one container in NetXMS called for example 'Unimus sync'. For that container, setup auto-bind rules to have all devices bound to that container you want to be synced to Unimus. Then in Unimus, simply specify the 'Unimus sync' container to sync from. Would that be acceptable?

Re: [1.5.0] Mikrotik Unable to download backup

Hi, How long does this MikroTik take to fully output "/export compact"? From the log it seems it takes longer than 75 seconds. Unimus default timeout for backup retrieval on non-pages platforms (like RouterOS) is 75 seconds. We have a wiki article that shows how to adjust the timeouts: https://wiki....

Re: NetXMS Import

Hi,

The user used for sync doesn't need any System Rights at all.

It only needs access to the containers configured for sync, and all the objects in those containers which should be synced.
For the containers and objects, only "Read" access right is required.
