Re: [Solved] why there is support of unify AP

Support for UniFi (not just the APs, but all other devices) was actually requested multiple times by our users before we added it. As for why this is useful, each user/network usually has their own requirements and reasons, but here are a few common use-cases I personally have seen. Change managemen...

Re: [BETA] 2.2.0 beta release thread

We just pushed out 2.2.0-Beta2 with fixes for issues found in Beta1. We will likely release Beta3 with more new features by the end of January, and are looking to push 2.2.0 into a stable GA release by the end of February. Features: Unmanaged devices are now displayed with Italic font in "Backups" s...

Re: Ubuntu MySQL setup notes

Just a few additional notes: -- The above should work for MySQL and MariaDB just fine. In generally we recommend MariaDB, but DB flavor should really not make much difference in a one-off deploy that will be used for Unimus only. -- You probably want to change the default memory allocations for buff...

Re: [Solved] Mikrotik Config Push error

Sorry for the later reply - last week was super busy here with the log4j mess and our 2.2.0-Beta1 release. Example. If I run this push script on a router with no entries in the address list it works fine. ... But if the address list already contains the 172.16.0.0/12 entry Unimus stops running the c...

Re: Address list management on MikroTik

This sweet little script seems to be working as advertised. One question though, is there a way to add a comment to each address as they get added? Sure, here is a modification that includes setting descriptions: :do { # set your list name and addresses desired in the list :local listName "testList...

Re: [Solved] Ignored data filter not working

Hi, the best approach in this case would likely be just to delete the line all together. You can define a "Delete" filter (instead of an "Ignore" filter), with regex like this: (?m)^\h*speed \d+\h*\n This will remove the line if it's present, and do nothing if it's not. This way there will be no cha...

Re: Ignored data filter not working

Hi,

The "^" and "$" anchors normally refer to start of string and end of string. You need to use the "(?m)" modifier to make them "per-line". Online regex testers often turn this on by default. This should work:

Code: Select all

(?m)^.*speed.(300|1200|2400|4800|9600|19200|38400|57600|115200).*$

Re: Cisco Router with Menu Prompt

Nevermind! I see it just "works". I changed the config back to the prompt and I ran a "backup now" and it's working. Is there a place to put the keystroke needed? Or is it always "x"? We added this as a part of our behavior tree - Unimus will intelligently recognize menus of this type, and determin...

Re: [Solved] Is Unimus vulnerable to CVE-2021-44228?

Just a small update - since new vulnerabilities continue to be identified in log4j, starting with 2.2.0-Beta1 and going forward, we have removed log4j and log4j-core from Unimus. While Unimus 2.1.4 is NOT affected by any of the disclosed vulnerabilities (up to the date of this post), if you want to ...
