System maintenance - February 19th

Hey everyone! We will be performing a system upgrade across our back-end infrastructure on February 19th. We expect that it should take no longer than 3 hour, but as it goes with these things, it could drag on. The upgrade is scheduled for 18:00 (6 PM) UTC time. We hope to have all services back up ...

Re: PowerConnect 5524

After investigation, we found these switches use a rather uncommon 1026 DH key, which we currently don't support. In the short term, there is not much we can do about this. In the long term, we are planning on updating our SSH client implementation around April/May, and we can fix this then. I creat...

Re: PowerConnect 5524

Hi, Could you please run Unimus in debug mode and run a discovery on the switch? Please PM me the logs from the discovery attempt. On Linux: sudo su service unimus stop cd /opt/unimus java -jar Unimus.jar \ --logging.level.net.unimus.core=TRACE \ --unimus.core.echo-ssh=TRUE \ --unimus.core.echo-teln...

Re: Added device, but not in device list - Bug?

Hi,

DB integrity check is run automatically each time Unimus starts.

We would really like to investigate this problem, could we please connect on GoToMeeting or something similar?
If so, please PM me, or email us to work out the details.

Thanks!

Re: Netonix FULL backup

Hi, This is a bit more far-reaching problem than just Netonix. Currently, all platforms that require multiple config files packed into a binary as a backup need to be handled a bit better. (Netonix, IgniteNet MetroLinq, etc.) Basically, we really want to still have the text config in Unimus (which i...

Re: FreeNAS - Binary config files?

Hi,

This is not possible yet, but we have plans to support HTTP(S), SCP, and (S)FTP soon.

After those connectors are implemented, we will be able to support binary configs for many different things, various NASes included.

Re: Supported vendors/devices

Also requesting for Dell Sonicwall (SonicOS). edit part 2: Looks like the running config can be exported with command "show current-config" even with a read only administrator However, with putty, it seems to pagenate every section. Would it be possible to get access to one of these in a lab to pro...

Re: [Fixed in 1.6.0] NetXMS Import

I implemented the changes to the NetXMS importer. I have also added a new article on the wiki that should explain all the details: https://wiki.unimus.net/display/UNPUB/NetXMS+importer I also updated the 1.6.0 Beta thread with the build that includes the importer updates: https://forum.unimus.net/vi...
