Re: [Solved] Failed backup data options

Hi, I find it really annoying that the email notification seems hardcoded to about 25 lines. We have large deployments which are air-gapped so we can't use Slack or Pushover. There are internal mailservers so email works, but since Unimus often cuts the information that is also quite useless. I have...

Re: [Draft] Unimus API v3 - feedback wanted

Hi, I think the suggestions look ok, although I could not see any plans for adding user accounts in API v3. That is a tedious task when using many tags for user access. Maybe the reason is that you are doing re-work on the whole RBAC and that it just is to complicated to add that to the API in the i...

Re: API version 3?

I understand. Things take time. I planned to do the automation I am looking at now about a year ago but have'nt had time until now :). Direct DB manipulation would work as a workaround for now, I will definitely look into that. Thanks!

Re: API version 3?

Thank you for your quick reply. Not the answer I wanted, since even when combining the methods there are a lot of things that can't be managed. The API as of today feels neglected. One of the main reasons we chose Unimus for our rather large multi-tenant environment was it's speed and the ability to...

API version 3?

Hi, When will the API methods described here https://wiki.unimus.net/display/UNPUB/Full+API+v.3+documentation be available in the stable version? Are they included in some preview version? I only see some of them on my install which runs 2.4.0 on <server>/api/v3/ui. If I try to use any of them anywa...

Re: What data does Unimus collect from local instances?

Thank You, that fully answers my questions. Using description fields for the zones is indeed an option, but as we also have the option to use Offline Mode we might go with that. I really appreciate your ability to answer questions both fast and right on point :-)

Re: What data does Unimus collect from local instances?

Thank you for providing this information. I do however need a clarification on Q5/Q7. " Device addresses and internal UUIDs. Zone names, numbers, default flags, proxy types and internal UUIDs" . Does this mean that if I use a customer name as a zone name your licensing server will see that...

Re: Cisco ASA multiple context issues

Hi, Thank you for a very complete answer. I never though about paging being useful when extracting stuff from interactive shells but I get your point :-). I will have to investigate regarding failures a little more, I might have been a bit misinformed there. Not sure there were failures, it could be...

Cisco ASA multiple context issues

Hi! We purchased Unimus about a month ago and we really like it. However, we've discovered that backups of Cisco ASA's sometimes fail. The backup also takes a _really_ long time. We have several large multi-context ASA's and I believe the problem might be that you seem to paginate the output. I did ...
