Re: MikroTik backups - export terse

Hi Tomas, Thanks for getting back to me, I had a feeling that might be the case. I was kind of surprised to find the backup commands weren't in a database structure when I was digging through the system. Look forward to hearing more about the custom backup in future, potentially could have a number ...

MikroTik backups - export terse

Hi, We're investigating using Unimus in conjunction with another tool which can verify configuration is to set standards. For MikroTiks this comparison gets much easier when rather than using the 'export' command to retrieve backups, we use the 'export terse' command. Is there any way to get Unimus ...

Config Push: Undiscovered devices

Because devices regularly fall back into "undiscovered" status it would be very handy for the "Un-discovered devices" segment of the config push results to have a 'Discover devices' option, or alternatively a checkbox option for "try and discover Un-discovered devices before...

High number of repeated discoveries after upgrade to 2.1.2

Hi, Have you had any reports of issues with a high number of repeated discoveries after upgrade to 2.1.2. Our installation appears to be trying to discover things very frequently. Every time i go in there seem to be circa 6000 devices queued for discovery. The majority of our devices are only set to...

Re: API - create device - specify zone and credentials

That is great news Tomas! Will remove what is a currently manual task from our Unimus setup and shorten the distance between a piece of equipment coming online and being discovered and being properly backed up.

Look forward to it.

Re: Automated tagging / Schedule Tags

Thanks Tomas.

I thought of one additional requirement for the automated tagging - you could also set tags based on the config e.g. a tag for 'Telnet Enabled' devices. That way you can periodically check for devices which have it enabled and disable it.

Automated tagging / Schedule Tags

Had a look to see if this is suggested anywhere else or already on the roadmap and couldn't find it. Automated tagging based on returned data from devices (could be especially good when combined with the Q3 targeted 'Advanced device information collection during discovery') This feature would allow ...

[Implemented] Unimus API: get_device response

Hi,

Please could the get_device endpoint provide the 'Last job status' and 'Last stored backup'. It would also be very useful to have the last time it checked for backup changes successfully.

Thanks,
